About me
As an Instructional Coach, I am passionate about empowering teachers and fostering student growth. My path to becoming an Instructional Coach started with teaching computer programs to adults in a corporate environment. When my oldest was born, I left the workforce to run my own company writing computer manuals for libraries and running their public computer classes. When my children were older, I returned to teaching Digital Apps in the classroom as an adjunct professor where I also wrote textbooks for Pearson Higher Education. In order to go full time, I ventured into high school teaching as a Technology Integration Coach and business technology teacher. After a short break from the classroom to work in the edtech industry writing curriculum again, I recently joined the Pike Career Center team as the CTE Instructional Coach. I consider myself a lifelong learner committed to continuous improvement and innovation in education.
In my free time I like to run, cycle, read, and take much needed naps! I'm also on the board of the Zionsville Farmers Market and a co-event organizer for the Indy Divas all-woman's cycling group.
