Many students can decode but still struggle with understanding what they read. This session will explore effective strategies to move beyond phonics and develop strong comprehension skills. Educators will learn how to teach inferencing, summarizing, and analyzing text structure while integrating knowledge-building practices. Participants will leave with practical tools to enhance comprehension across all subject areas.
